German journalist Rafa Honigstein has claimed that Thomas Tuchel has already held meetings with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia to potentially take over from Antonio Conte.
Tuchel has been the talk of the last previous days after the former Borussia Dortmund coach reportedly turned down the chance to be the next Bayern Munich boss next season.
The 44-year-old has been linked with both the PSG and Chelsea jobs on the assumption that both Unai Emery and Conte would be leaving their positions once the season is over.
Tuchel has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, however it is unlikely that the former Bundesliga coach would be willing to work with the Gunners’ new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat after their falling out at Dortmund.
According to Honigstein the north London club will not be in the running to get Tuchel to be their new manager, and that it will be either PSG or Chelsea who would bring him in should the role become vacant.
